What next for Nepalese Cricket ??

Millions of fans hope crush into pieces as tournaments favorites Nepal loses two out of two game against USA and Uganda at the start of the Division Three tournaments. New condition, unknown pitch, lacks of proper match practice and preparation, negative planning and execution, over confident, forgetting the basic and taking opponents lightly can be taken as the reason for the losses.  We can blame CAN, Team management and other cricketing bodies for this losses but blaming is not the solution.
Winning and losing are parts of game and it continues till the game remains. Playing the level best and losing is a different thing but this time around the way team Nepal is losing making every fan disappointed as the opponent’s team outplays us in every department. This is a great slap for the Nepali cricket team management and governing bodies if they understand it.  Till  the date the achievements and  heights Nepali cricket has climb is all due to the solo efforts of coach and player themselves but at the higher level only their effort is not enough to win you the matches. This is a wakeup call for CAN and other cricket governing bodies time has came to show their presence, and responsibility to support Nepali cricket team which is seriously in need of it. High expectation, below par match practice, visa problem at the start of tournament, lack of practice matches in Bermuda and expecting to be crown champion from player is a bit more this time around as at higher level you have to be preparing better to challenge the high class team.
The craziness of cricket lover at its height, many people’s are  attracted by the winning performance of the team but these losses come at wrong time to disturbed the cricket flow in our country. This is not the end and tournament is in the middle state, it’s cricket and anything is possible, still Nepal can make it through to Division Two and further more to keep the ODI world Cup hope alive. We should not forget we are already in ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier, has fair chance to qualify for the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh. But for this we have to learn from the mistake that we have done in Division Three and prepare well. Win and loss continue till the game remain but learning for loses and mistake is the only way to move forward. Our team is strong enough to move forward and has potential to win the reaming matches of the tournament. Only thing our cricket player in Bermuda need is respecting the opponents, doing the basic right, playing to our strength and exerting the pressure keeping motivation level at high.  If everything goes right surely we will be victorious in today’s game against Bermuda and remaining matches of the tournament and it fortune favors we could be there at Division Two. This is the time our Cricket team need real support from all Fan across the world, keep on cheering and supporting, surely we will be victorious. The strength of our team is we fan so never leave a single stone upturn to support Big Gorkhalies.
Governing bodies and cricket related person it’s time for serious rethinking in our cricket. Facilities to the player, high quality playing materials, exposure to high quality teams, domestic structure and infrastructure are a most for further cricket nourishment and challenge the high quality team in the cricketing world.  Every time only player and coach efforts are not enough to win you the matches at higher level. Time has come for a combine effort from every sector, investor, CAN, Government other cricket related bodies and well wisher to work for cricket betterment otherwise downfall is knocking the corner.   It’s a wakeup call and it the perfect time for it. Stop blaming start working for cricket nourishment. Jay Nepali Cricket.

Why Nepal lose momentum at wrong time...............????

Tournaments favorites at the start of the Division Three are struggling to remain in the division and the threat of relegation to division four is around the corner. Not a single cricket fan has expected such a disappointing performance by a country form Himalayan which is going through excellent run in 50 over cricket as they were undefeated in Division Four and Join Champion of ACC Elite Cup 2012 with UAE.
Every single crazy Nepali cricket fan has single question this time around “what are the reason for such a disappointing performance of Nepali cricket team?”
Cricket is game of uncertainties, in a given particular day any weak nation can crush the stronger one. The team that play better cricket in the match day wins. But question is way Nepal did not play better cricket in the match day…??
Touring is always difficult job, playing in new condition is tough in cricket. Let’s take evidence from recent international fixture, Australia whitewash India in Australia and Indian take revenge in their own backyard. This proves cricket is a game which is fully affected by playing condition and nature of pitch. So the first reason for this two losses is Nepalese team was unaware about the pitch and ground condition. Nepali team was unlucky to get single warm up match which also wash out by rain. Nepali team did not read the playing condition properly and prepare plan accordingly. Bowler and batsman both find it’s difficult to adjust to the new condition in Bermuda which I fell is the First reason for these defeat.
Nepali cricket team has recently finished ACCT20 cricket in own backyard and fresh from the tournament. T20 and 50 over cricket is completely different ball game all together, so shifting the tone from 20/20 cricket to 50 over is a most, which I feel Nepali cricket team lacks in these matches. Batting approach and bowling line and length varies according to change in formats. Nepali cricket team found it hard to adjust their batting and bowling mentality with change in formats is the second reason for the losses.
Match practice and match fitness is a most in international cricket to keep the momentum. Our teams seriously lack the proper match practice with quality side in different condition. Playing with local team of Indian does not give sufficient match practice to our team for such a important tournament for Nepali cricketing history. Obviously this is third reason for these losses.
Over confident at the start of the matches and taking the opponents lightly could be the other reason for these loses.
Nepali cricket was going towards right direction, increasing in people attraction towards cricket, slowly graving the attention of investor and the wave of cricket was running all across the country but these losses came at wrong time in Nepali cricket history. This is the time we all fans should keep our hand together to maintain the cricket craze and support the team from our level. This is not the end; this is just the beginning on new era, we still have chance to qualify for the World Cup 2015 qualifier if fortune favors and we must not forget we are already in ICC T20 World cup qualifier. So it time to support pray and wish for team.
