Nepal in Blind World Cup 2012

 The first ever Twenty20 World Cup for blind is starting today where nine countries will battle out for the trophy from December 2 to 13 in Bangalore, India. Besides host India, Nepal, Australia, Bangladesh, England, Pakistan, South Africa, West Indies and Sri Lanka are participating in the tournament. As many as six partially impaired players and five totally blind players from each country would play the games.
Interestingly, Nepal, for the first time in the history of blind cricket, would field two women players in World Cup matches.

Nepal Fixture for Twenty20 World Cup 

·      2nd December   : Nepal vs Bangladesh (1.45 pm)
·       3rd December   : Nepal vs Srilanka         (9.45 am)
·       4th  December  : Nepal vs South Africa (1.45pm)
·       5th December   : Rest day
·       6th December   : Nepal vs Australia (1.45pm)
·       7th December   : Nepal vs England (9.45am)
·       8th December   : Nepal vs India (9:45am)
·       9th December   : Nepal vs Westendies (9.45am)
·       10th December : Nepal vs Pakistan (1.45pm)
·       12th December : Semi Final
·       13th December  : Final


Let’s hope the country from Himalayans will show some decent performance and make all the Nepalese proud.
